Multiplying Lythrum by Clippings Print
In the Garden

I love Lythrum! And I love that Carol Littmann has given me starts from her garden, and in doing so, has shown me that I can make more starts from my own plants—something I never knew. Carol just snips the tops (flowers and some stems), places them in a jars of water in a sunny window or on her patio and waits for them to root. Her yard is filled with beautiful patches of these delightfully prolific bloomers. Just think, you can begin with just one plant and in one season, multiply your small beginnings into glorious patches of color.
