Heart to Heart

Sonia just asked me to look over her organic produce co-op order to make sure everything was fine. As always, it is such a comfort to see that Sonia’s first priority is to our family, our health, and our happiness and to realize how much she enjoys her household responsibilities. Of course, her desire to help others fulfill that goal is equally pleasing.

Dear Moms,

Here is the list for the co-op.

Fall is here, and squash, apple cider, and parsnips are on the list to help bring the autumn flavors to your table. Once again the award winning apple cider is offered. Starting a little higher this season, it is still worth that wonderful taste.

Dean’s buttermilk is something new offered to help with all of your baking. For a wonderful buttermilk pancake recipe, see below. If you have never had parsnips, try baking them along with your butternut squash with a little olive oil at 350 degrees until caramelized. Yummy!

Camembert and pears anyone? This is a delightful way to start off any evening.

Please send in your orders before midnight tonight.

Sincerely, Sonia
