Blueberry Picking at the Prices Multigenerational Blueberry Farm PDF Print E-mail
Family Travels

May 22nd, 2012

Blueberry picking has been a family tradition for many years, but not quite so satisfying as when we visited the Prices multi-generational family farm.

Located on 28 acres near Brashear in northeast Missouri’s Adair County, this farm is the most manicured blueberry farm we have ever visited.

Neat, well-mulched rows make blueberry picking easy.

The berries were beautiful.

Of course, the sweetest part was fellowshipping with Robert, Kerri, Karise, Abriana, and Grant before picking, during picking, and over dinner.

The next morning, Sonia made oatmeal with pecans and fresh blueberries.

For a much more detailed description of their family business and farm, visit my prior blog at http://www.theresnoplacelikehome-summers.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=980:homeschooling-familys-blueberry-farm&catid=64:family-travels&Itemid=59

The fellowship was so delightful that we got together again over the holidays.

Blueberry Picking is soon to commence so be sure to go to their website to find out when your family will be able to gather in your year’s supply of blueberries and enjoy this family as we have.www.lostbranchblueberries.com
